BNET BIO

Brian Bonnette is Bonnette / Bnet / Bonnette Da Bandit a rapper from Orangeburg South Carolina. He fits into the genre of hiphop; not hip pop. No auto tune on his voice makes him a 90s / 2000s style rapper. He says “if I need a singer I go get a singer or sing it myself this is rap not motown. The mood of his music varies, he has dark raps, fun raps, street raps, political raps, chruch raps, black pride raps; by far he is not a one trick pony. He started writing raps at age of 15; hoping to escape poverty probably like many other rappers. Bnet did live in G.A. the years of 2001-03, but that didnt workout for him.”I got locked up in Dekalb County, I lost my job at Griffith Laboratories, & some personal shit Id rather keep to myself.” Bnet moved back to Orangeburg. Now he is running up down the Cannon Bridge Road, & his music is on hold. The year 2006 came & Bnet met Flames, Dot, & Cal (The Hustle Boys). They showed him the setup he needed to record himself to cd. “I recorded a rap right away using Ludacris beat for Blow It Out Cha Ass. I had the hood saying I sound like Luda. Months later my cousin Al picks me up and takes me to his uncle house; here I met Mooky & J.A.B. as young teenagers, I havent seen them in probably a decade. Not long after we made a few mixtape raps; I brought my own pc and starting kicking out original raps. They were half ass mixed, & unmastered. But at the time I was happy just to be able to make music! Im stilling pushing those raps to the public.” Mooky & Jab are brothers. They are the primary beat men for Bonnette Da Bandit. From 1996 to 2001; Bnet was known as B-Raw & he recorded with his friend Rhyme C-ick. B-Raw & Rhyme C-ick recorded to tape using 2 radios. 1 of the radios had a built in mic, & the 2nd radio played the beat. “We did upgrade to a keyboard for original beats, & a performance mic which we hung from the light fixture in my room while recording. My plan was to move to ATL with my brother & pursue a rap career with my friend. I thought Rhyme C-ick had the same plans when graduated high school. I thought wrong, so our movement ended before it began .” Some people have told Bnet that he has real talent making rap music. The producer Blvck Vmish says he reminded him of Bun BBlvck Vmish produced the beat for Its Bout Dat Time , a rap on 4Lyfe Vol.4 Luv LyfeBnet also has a work ethic that is seen by his family & friends. Bnet lives in the studio that he put together, teaching himself how to engineer his music & promote his brand & product. Bonnette says “I got stuck/ constructing/ behind the PC/ now I think I got it right/ its time to tear thru the streets.” Bonnette has no material accolades from rapping yet. Bnet has multiple albums & beats for lease released onlineBnet wants to be a mystery to picture painters, but an open book to his listeners; meaning what you see; is not what you get. I truly think he is a different kind of rapper that cant be mirrored by any other!
